Questions

Do I need to send my original passport to the IRS?

No. As an IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent we authenticate your passport ourselves, so your original stays with you. This applies to primary applicants and spouses.

What documents do I need?

A valid passport, and evidence of why you need an ITIN. Examples: a US tax return, US company or LLC documents, FIRPTA documents for a US property sale, or Form 8233. You upload everything online.

How long does it take?

We send your application to the IRS by DHL within 3 working days of payment. We estimate 12 to 16 weeks from that date for your ITIN to be issued. You can follow every stage online.

Can I renew an expired ITIN?

Yes. Renewals use the same Form W-7 and the same online application. Choose "Renew an existing ITIN" on the first step.

Do I need to come to the office?

No. The application, identity check and payment are completed online. Meetings in Dubai are available by appointment.
